About cost

What price are you willing to pay?

  •  Continuous pain?
  •  Lessened quality of life?
  •  Shorter life expectancy?

They do not really sound like good options, do they?

Compare TMJ treatment with…

Sun is shining as you re-check your list. Everything is packed, cooler is filled, gas gage is sitting on full and you are ready to hit the road. You look at the map one last time, confirming the most scenic route. Your family has been anticipating this adventure for a long time and it’s about to begin. You buckle up, slide in the key, turn the ignition and . . .

Nothing! It’s dead. Your car won’t start and you are stranded in your very own driveway before you even have a chance to leave town.

You knew this day would come. The day your car would conk out. Conk out and leave you helpless and deflated.

But hey, you need… a car. So you’re shopping around, comparing features, prices, add-ons. You talk to friends, get recommendations and research various options. You do your homework and when you are ready, you invest in a new car.

Now, apply the same analogy to your mouth

Shouldn’t the same thought and consideration be given to your health? Isn’t your overall health more important than your car? After all, your car will only last you a few years. Your health is with you for a lifetime.

Just like your vehicle, the warning signs are evident in your mouth:
– It isn’t working properly.
– You are experiencing pain and discomfort.
– Some body parts are aching.

You know something is wrong and just like anything, the longer you leave it untreated, the bigger the problem will become. Eventually, your entire mouth will become useless. You think you have problems now – just wait – they will only become increasingly worse.

Cost for TMJ treatment? Much depends on what you need. There are several options that tailor treatment to your needs. However most patients can expect to pay in a certain range depending on the type of orthotic they choose.

Initial Therapeutic Orthotics for pain patients start around $3000, including the preliminary diagnostic procedures that are necessary. These orthotics are removable and can be used full-time except while eating.

Therapeutic Removable Orthotics for pain patients that are designed to be used full-time including while eating, can range from $3000 to $6000, including the preliminary diagnostic procedures that are necessary.

Reconstruction Orthotics can range from $6000 to $8000. These orthotics are typically bonded to the teeth and are a pre-cursor to orthodontics or dental restorations to change the way teeth mesh permanently.

Cost for chiropractic care, orthodontic treatments or restorative care will vary with each patient’s needs.

But in return your pain can be RELIEVED and you can have a better qualify of life. Pretty good deal isn’t it?
