A doctor you can trust

Dr. Steven Hill was born and raised in North Vancouver where he developed a keen interest in skiing, hockey and golf. He now lives in the Fort Langley area with his family.

Dr. Hill attended UBC dental school from 1985-1989. Here he was the perennial class representative to the Dental Undergraduate Society (DUS) and was voted in as the DUS President in 1988-1989. He was also the first dental student to ever win the UBC Medical Team Award for Excellence.

After dental school graduation Dr. Hill accepted a four year position in a hospital setting in Halifax. Here he worked side-by-side with specialists in oral surgery, orthodontics, and prosthodontics (crown and bridge). This advanced training allowed him to practise dentistry at a very high level when he returned to practise in Langley in 1993.

Since returning to the Vancouver area, Dr. Hill has been a leader in continuing dental education.

His list of accomplishments includes:

• Chairman of the Fraser Valley Continuing Education Committeee since 1997.
• Regional Continuing Education Coordinator for the British COlumbia Dental Association since 1998.
• Fraser Valley Dental Society Executive Board member since 1996.
• President of the Fraser Valley Dental Society 2006-2008.
• Fellowship from the LVI Global institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
• Member of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
• Member of the International Association for Orthodontics.
• Member of the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics.
• Completed Dr. Jay Gerber “Master Orthodontic” Program.
• Completed Dr. Mariano Rocabado “Cranial-cervical and Cranio-mandibular” Program.
• Completed Dr. Jim Beck “Optimal Dental Physiology” Program.
• Senior Instructor for the Vancouver Neuro-Muscular Dentistry Study Club.

Dr. Hill is dedicated to making the best care available to his patients in dentistry today. He also believes strongly in a gentle touch and providing a friendly, comfortable atmosphere in his office.
